    While OTW to the airport to pick up Hunny, and Hunny's mother last night I got rear-ended.
    Just a little bump, but still... it's a new car and there was a bit of damage to the paint.
    So I had to go through the whole thing.
    Call the Po, get the forms filled out, then head on to the airport.

    The girl who hit me was nice enough, and I was nice to her.
    Things happen, no need to be angry.
    We chatted and had a rather pleasant time of it while the Po fixed up the drivers exchange form. And they were good guys and didn't ticket her for rear-ending me. I liked that.


    My brain still does not play well with night driving/riding and by the time we got home I had lots of streamers in my vision and a rather bad headache.
    Bleh.

    Glad the accident was nothing major and that you made it home safely! I got rear ended in November 2011 at about 20 mph. I was stopped to turn left into a funeral home parking lot and a guy turned onto the road behind me, was paying not attention and just smashed right into me. My sister had some wrist issues after that b/c she saw it coming and braced against the dash. I developed a running injury (tendonitis) like 2 weeks after the accident in the leg that was holding down the brake... not sure if they were related or not. Damage to my car was over $3,000. Glad I wasn't paying for it!

    So, I took my car over to the fix-it-up place and picked up my rental this morning.
    Rentals are always such a disappointment.

    Rental is not as nice as my car. I hate that.
    I went from brand new Pappy car with EVERYTHING and a cherry on top... to: stinky little Jetta.
    Bleh.

    It's serviceable.
    And I'm spoiled.
    That is the lesson of the day folks.
