Yeah, sweet baby car will be heading off to the shop.
She has been sitting too long and needs some attention.
Even on a good day she is a fickle little beast, and I'm not sure I'm prepared for that level of car yet.

I feel good, but do I feel working on a carburetor on the side of the road good? LOL
She needs some TLC atm.
Until then... it's the new car.


In other, likely very TMI news... whatever... I'm going to crow about it anyway!

I think he's just happy the lull is over... things got a little slow there for a while I'll admit.

Friday afternoon at the salon was a success!


The color of that little dog is no coincidence...
Though mine is a bit bolder!
And I have green/blue eyes of course.
Yup... I'ma red head now!
COPPER to be exact.


Easiest way to counter act the remaining green cast on the blonde hair from the blue dye... RED.
Which is the direction I wanted to go anyway.
Perfect.
And she was thrilled when I picked the bold copper.

Hair is fun.
Next round we'll be adding the funk I think...
For now... just red.
Which is still a huge departure from the very light blonde/mint and darker blonde thing.

Now, I'd better get to stealing some souls so I can freckle up an bit and make this convincing.

Naw... I just want to at a few normal souls and get some cute little nose freckles or something... I don't wanna be full on GINGER.

Maybe I could just draw them on with a pencil... and pretend I was eating souls. (about 10min in)

Adding freckles is actually cracking me up.
How many people try absolutely CRAZY stuff to get rid of freckles!

Tarpon Springs is a hoot. My favorite thing there (if it's still there) is that little place where you can watch that old scratchy movie on how they get the sponges. Also good food. And (again if it's still there, since I've been gone from FL for a long time), the hot sauce store. Husband #2 would stock up whenever we went.

Did yard work yesterday... including breaking down and burning some tree limbs.
I have sore muscles.

I found and bought my first organic Honey Crisp apple of the year... the price was really ridiculous.
I'm sure everyone does the same thing I did...
They stand there holding the coveted Honey Crisp, looking back and forth between it and the "normal" priced less tasty apples, hang their heads and buy the Honey Crisp anyway.
It was delicious... I ate it for breakfast today cold, with a glass of iced milk.
