a stroke of brilliance on the biscuits!
Dr. Bork Bork and I decided we were going to tink with each others recipes and see what goodies we could create. Start with an idea from Dr. Bork and you know your gonna have it going on! Here is the first in the line of "tinks".
Though changed, it is inspired by her fabulous TEA CRUSTED CHICKEN <---linked to Dr. Bork's orig. recipe.
The chicken rocked and the tea biscuits taste like dessert. NO CHEAT btw.Seriously, they taste like they have sugar or honey in them - but there is no sugar, sweetener, or sweetener substitute of any kind in the biscuits/muffins. WOOT.

Another great looking recipe. I now know what I'm going to be having for dinner tomorrow. I just made a batch of dried blueberries in my food dehydrator (Which is really coming in super handy btw) so I may use those in the biscuits instead of raisins. I'm looking forward to trying it out.

Chicken and tea biscuit.jpg
Turned out great! Thanks for the recipe.
Minor adjustments, used dried blueberries instead of raisins and made six slightly larger biscuits in jumbo muffin tins (took about 25 minutes that way).
Any idea with what to do with the chicken/green tea stock would be appreciated. Seems like it would be a great base for a vegetable dish but I have no flair for such things.
Thanks again.

Waiting to see your pic, it is still pending as I type this. Soooo...I'm dying to know, would you use blueberries again? That sounds good to me. Recommend?
I freeze my extra stock in 1 cup rubbermaid plastic containers and use them for future soups and stews. It works well for us. I guess you could also measure out a cup and pour into a ziploc bag and freeze too
