My grandpa used to take me to a family farm not far from Laconia. I don't remember the name of it, but it was beautiful, and they knew all their customers by name. Can't tell you how many mornings I spent as a kid helping my grandpa pick fresh strawberries.

Hey everyone- I've been reading this website for a year or so and been 98% primal since Jan 2012. I'm on the Seacoast and have been thinking that, as the Winter approaches, it would be cool to have a NH Primal Meetup so we can get a shot of motivation and support going into the long, dark days. I've been getting a lot of remarks on my transformation in the last year, but when people hear how I did it, I get the CW/SAD eye roll. I'm cool with that, they are welcome to keep rockin' the wheat belly. No evangelism here! But it would be cool to meet some others who speak "Grok". Cheers!

i could be down for that. i live in manchester, but i work at unh, so i'm right up the road from you a chunk of the time. hopefully we'll get a little thing going here, but if not PM me and we can figure something out.

It's nice to see so many NH people here! For the person asking about farms - you can get great pastured pork, chicken, lard etc from Phoenix Hill. I also bought 1/2 pig from Porkside but will switch to Phoenix Hill when that's gone. I bought a side of grass-fed beef from 3J Farms in Danbury and it is delicious. Lots of good info to be found on Eat Wild for local farms.

A meetup would be fun - my friends and family mostly think I am crazy, especially over my months-long obsession with making bone broth, so it would be nice to meet similarly-minded people.
