I really enjoyed that video when I first found it, and I sent it to my mom to watch to help her understand how I was using diet to treat my MS. Funny thing is that eating the way Terry Wahls suggests (which is low-carb primal) actually made my MS symptoms seriously WORSE. My IBS got wicked, my fatigue and depression skyrocketed...since adding back a ton more carbs and sugar and getting rid of most of the veggies, my IBS is in remission, my mood is awesome, and I generally feel great.
I think the sciene behind this way of eating makes soooooo much sense, but the reality was that it made me sicker. I'm finding out that stress and other aspects of life (generally feeling happy and in control) are actually MORE important to health than just diet alone. I think that embracing this way of eating is one way to feel like you're in control, vs. just depending on doctors to prescribe pills, and that feeling of power is actually what is responsible for a big part of the healing process.
