    Primal fuel for weight loss?????????

    Primal Fuel
    I usually have eggs for breakfast meat and veggies for lunch. But im really trying to loose weight so i was thinking about not have any dinner but having a primal shake for dinner instead. Is this a good way to speed up weight loss??

    Why would you not have any dinner? Unless you are seriously over indulging in your calories then you should not have to worry and if you feel like eating dinner you should. In regards to primal shakes I have no knowledge of what they are and whether they are good or not. Eggs dont have many calories in so unless your having about 20 you will be fine and meat and veg for lunch altogether has to only come to about 1000 calories?

    Eat when you are hungry. This is not a lose weight quick scheme like all the other diets. Choose healthy food and eat as your hunger dictates. Combined with appropriate exercise the weight will come off. Perhaps not as quickly as you like, but slow weight loss stays off longer than dropping 10lbs in 2 weeks.

    I guess it depends how much weight you have to loose, if you are very overweight it seems that merely cutting out the crap carbs has people dropping pounds like spending dosh in a shoe store!

    However I didn't have a lot to loose and was convinced that I wasn't loosing any, but, after measuring myself in April and again in May I have lost 1/2 inch all over, without counting calories and only applying the 20/80 rule. You may just lose weight slowly, it takes time...I also don't think weighing yourself is the best measure, if you are weight training now when you weren't before then you will not see changes in the scales

    I use the primal drink when I'm in a hurry, or short on good food. Sometimes, I just want something light and the shake fits the bill. As far as being satisfying, it's very light. When I need to kill hunger I mix it with some extra fat or some heavy cream. I like the sweetness of the shake. I usually make it like this:

    2 scoops Primal fuel
    3/4 cup coconut milk
    1/4 cup whipping cream
    = very hunger-killing
    Calories 405, Carbs 17, Fat 30, Protein 24

    Tonight, I'm going to try making this ice cream for dessert for 2 and won't add sweetener because the shake is pretty sweet to begin with:

    Individual Bag -- Ice Cream

    You will need a small 1 qt. zip loc bag and place into it:
    2 scoops Primal protein powder
    1/2 cup coconut milk
    1/2 t. vanilla
    1/2 cup heavy cream

    Take a gallon-size Zip-loc bag and place into it:
    3 cups ice
    1/2 cup salt

    Be sure the quart bag is well-sealed and place it into the
    gallon bag with the ice and salt. Seal the gallon bag. Shake,
    massage and manipulate the bag until the ice cream is ready.
    It normally takes about 3-5 minutes.

    Alternate method for Chocolate ice cream:
    add 1 tbsp. unsweetened baking cocoa

    Thanks for the feedback guys, but im not an expert at this diet, i just want to know if not having a dinner but having the primal shake is a good way to speed up weight loss? Any thoughts?

    I would only choose a shake if I didn't have the time to make a full meal and had to eat on the run. Otherwise, I don't see the point.
