Paleobird! What a great story! You are force to be reckoned with for sure! And I love your not bullshi* approach to everything nutritionally and physically! I've been taking in your advice since I started this in Nov 2011. I'm not as focused as I need to be, but I'm working on it!

I hope if I'm ever faced with a life or death situation that I have at least some influence over, I will face it with the voracity you have. Thanks for telling your story - and for being such an inspiration!

Seconded. The expression on the dog's face in your 'before' photo is classic.
Disclaimer: I eat 'meat and vegetables' ala Primal, although I don't agree with the carb curve. I like Perfect Health Diet and WAPF Lactofermentation a lot.

TQP: I find for me that nutrition is much more important than what I do in the gym.

Do not allow yourself to become wrapped up in a food 'lifestyle'. That is ego, and you are not that.

I loved reading your story. You are rocking that bathing suit. I feel inspired.
It's just another day in paradise
As you stumble to your bed
    You'd give anything to silence
Those voices ringing in your head
You thought you could find happiness
    Just over that green hill
You thought you would be satisfied
    But you never will-

The no BS is just me. Always has been. A near brush with death has given my life a new sense of, I don't know what word to use, maybe urgency or intensity. As in live it today, now, this minute, because you never know what could happen.

Hey there. How ya been? Got that pull up yet? I can almost do one real "proper" push up. Maybe the spine not straight as a plank but getting there.
