My goal's to lose about 137 pounds. I've already lost 35.5, just another 101.5 to go.

I don't care to be very lean, but I wouldn't mind achieving a body fat % in the lower teens.

    Only time will tell...

I began this Primal journey on December 30th, 2009 and in that time I've lost over 125 LBS.

I certainly hope so. That is what I plan to do.

That assumes one only has 80 pounds to lose, but I've lost that amount in six months (started in August). I know that RogerDeRok has dropped over 100 pounds in less than a year, and DianaRenata has dropped over 125. So yes, it can be done.

Primal eating in a nutshell: If you are hungry, eat Primal food until you are satisfied (not stuffed). Then stop. Wait until you're hungry again. Repeat.

I'm halfway there!!! Lost 50 lbs, would like to loose another 30 lbs. I wasn't morbidly obese (I don't think?) started at 210lbs after giving birth to my second child, (female, 5'3") but I was definitely really over-weight.

The more I see the less I know for sure.

Wow, Griff! Love your avatar! I can really see a difference!

Oh, and I wanted to ask you if I could post your cholesterol information (with credit to you) on a message board that I frequent. It is a parenting board with a weight loss sub forum, and I think there might be some people who could benefit from the info.

I'm working on it. Had 110 lbs to lose. I've dropped 40 so far, and put on a bit of muscle.

    Start weight: 250 - 06/2009
    Current weight: 199
    Goal: 145

I dropped 65lbs, kept it off a loooong while now, while building back some muscle and bone density. That is a good thing as I hit 42 in May. Glad I caught on when I did, or I'd have had that 80, 100, 150 to lose stack up over my 40s, for sure.

And the clearing of seasonal allergies, pet allergies, sore arthritic knees, better breathing, increased strength and flexibility, better eyesight, sleep behavior improved, etc, etc etc it is so much more than weight loss alone!

QotJ: Sure, go ahead - just attribute it, if you would. And thanks for the compliment!

I dropped 41 lb and have still 18 lb to go. I've never been morbidly obese, just obese, but I doubt I will ever be very lean. I'm settling for normal, healthy weight.

    Height: 5'4" (1.62 m)
    Starting weight (09/2009): 200 lb (90.6 kg)
No longer overweight (08/2010): 145 lb (65.6 kg)
    Current weight (01/2012): 127 lb (57.5 kg)
