I downloaded it too, when I saw the postit really is amazing.
I installed the program a couple nights ago, and I love it so much! I've been getting great sleep, and waking up rested because come 10:30 or so, my body is telling me LIGHTS OUT! If you haven't downloaded it yet, I strongly suggest you do!

I'm using it as we speak. I don't know if I'm enough of a computer user to make it really work, but I do find it strangely soothing...
I'll post again in a few days if I really start seeing a difference.
Get yellow light bulbs too!!!! Between f.lux, yellow lights and valerian tea I am set!!!
Love f.lux. Love Mark for bringing it to my attention.
Life on Earth may be punishing, but it includes an annual free trip around the sun!
Does anyone else have this: - f.lux makes everything warmer, *except* the mouse pointer. A spot of bright blue-white it is.
@avocado, I only really notice it when I have the mouse pointer on the actual F.lux screen (the one where you can see how much light is being used or whatever) I've only had it today so far but I like it... my body does at least.
I used to seriously post here, now I prefer to troll.
I'm using it also. . .it's great! The screen is so much more soothing. I'm recommending it to everyone now.
Avocado--no problem with the pointer (I have a Mac).
I use it too. I'm not sure it's made any difference but it's not hurting anything so I'll keep using it.
I began this Primal journey on December 30th, 2009 and in that time I've lost over 80 LBS and more than 35 inches.
My company's NEW website: www.STR2.com (under construction)
I have it on both of my computers and I don't know if I'm sleeping better, but it sure is easy on the eyes. The other night my wife wasn't sure if F.lux was loaded, so I opened it temporarily disabled it to show her what the screen would look like without it.
We were both momentarily blinded by the painfully bright blue light.
I changed the color temperature on my TV as well, but I don't think it made a big difference.
I need to get some yellow lightbulbs. And I'm looking into getting some blue-blocking sunglasses. I'm going to wear them whenever I go out at night, while listening to the song "Sunglasses At Night" by Corey Hart.
