I had SO MUCH ENERGY right after my 12 hour overnight shift that I immediately took my dog for a 45 minute walk to the farmers market. I can't believe how much better I have been feeling. Low carbs and no lack of energy or negative effects. I can't believe it. It is truly amazing.

I went to the opening day of the Ottawa Farmers Market. I bought some grass-fed beef, elk, pork and pasture eggs. On the unhappy side of things, there was only 1 organic farmer (boo) but I'm hopeful that last years organic farmers will be back. We shall see next Sunday.

Yes, I found out fairly early on that hi fat days were great days. I stopped eating lean meats after a month or two and focused on eating fat and prtein at every meal. Then I quickly moved to a 20 hour fast 4 hour eat routine 2-5 times per week, which made it even better. You're doing great!

Thanks Buffdv! Yeah, I can't believe how good I feel. When I do stop my fast, I often don't feel that I absolutely need to eat. Tonight I was at a bday, but didn't feel like I needed to eat after 17 hrs. I probably could have gone another few hours. I did REALLY well tonight too. There was a pasta salad, potato salad, bread and cake. I didn't even think about eating those. No problem at all!

Yeah, it is really great once you get to where it isn't even painful to skip those bad foods. And it only gets better the longer you are primal. Getting fully converted from sugar burner to fat burner is awesome. It just makes the cravings stop. The only thing I seem to crave these days is bacon! And nothing is holding me back from that! I do get a little crazy with the chocolate sometimes, but only because I won't go eat some meat instead.

Walked to work with my VFF and oh my gosh, they are amazing!! No shinsplints or pains in my arch (or lack thereof - I'm flat footed). I can't wait for my next walk.

    19 May 12, PB Day 19

Now that I've gotten a couple of weeks under my belt, I'm no longer be posting my daily foods or counting calories. Let thy hunger be thy guide We'll see how that goes. I'm going to remeasure and weigh myself tomorrow to see what kind of progress I've made. I can definitely feel that I've lost some around my tummy. We'll see how much tomorrow.

    Cheers
