That & Raspberry Ketones. Latest fads apparently. I read an article recently, however, that you would have to take, like, a bottle of raspberry ketones every day to get any sort of noticeable results from it.
Anyone heard of this? Apparently it was on Dr. Oz so I don't believe it much (lol) but I'm just wondering if anyone's read into it:

Just ASSume that everything Dr. Oz says is false. It keeps me from falling into his traps.

I've been using Swisse trimshot shakes as snacks sometimes, when I run out of time to take lunch to work, it contains African mango. The packet says it helps reduce appetite and is high in soluble fibre to delay the emptying of the stomach. It also contains other ingredients but I must say I do seem to loose more weight when I drink it, as opposed to simply fasting. I would be interested in more information about it as well![]()
this would explain the Raspberry Ketones something or another for sale at my gym. Something written on the sale chalkboard or something I remember seeing a few times but not paying much attention to.

Good starting point.
It's marketing. It's bullshit. This is from plain old wikipedia:
They're selling you the most expensive, incredibly processed crap from raspberries. Just...raspberries. It's a f*cking flavor additive and they're getting people to buy it just for that. "Buy this shit we put in a bottle. It, uh, makes you not fat or whatever."Raspberry ketone is a natural phenolic compound that is the primary aroma compound of red raspberries. It is used in perfumery, in cosmetics, and as a food additive to impart a fruity odor. It is one of the most expensive natural flavor components used in the food industry. The natural compound can cost as much as $20,000 per kg.
So 1 it doesn't even work and 2 the Primal diet is all about high fat diets that don't add body fat. When given to mice in very high doses (up to 2% of food intake), raspberry ketone has been shown to prevent high-fat-diet-induced elevations in body weight. However, no effects on body weight were observed with doses up to 200 times greater than the estimated intake in humans.
Nobody should ever waste their time listening to "Dr Oz"
Yeah, a fine diet of acai berries, supplemented with joji berries, spread over with raspberry ketones served over slices of mango. You can also chuck back a bunch of blueberries for old days sake. The Very Berry Diet.

Wow...just, wow. I always knew Dr. Oz was full of shit...didn't he do a thing about the Paleo diet once, but it included tofu and whole grains or something ridiculous? I don't watch him, I just hear about his crazy shit when browsing online or from my poor mom lol
And $20,000 a kg? Really?
