Wow, these are some great ideas, guys! I think I will definitely need to step up the volume of the food. I think I'll be guzzling down bowls of MDA's gazpacho (sans eggs) all week!
Grumpy: I don't want to resort to actual bread because I don't want to risk any pre-wedding bloat! Or a total fall off the PB wagon (see last week's "oh I'll just have a few cookies." This quickly turned into "I'll just have 15 cookies. Every day. For 4 days.")
Earthmomma: I DO hate it! But I figure that doing it this once before such an important occasion won't kill me. (Although it may make me want to kill someone else, haha.)
CarlH: I think the idea is that you are not supposed to eat any animal products (hence no mammals, birds, shellfish, eggs or dairy) but fish is allowed because of the early Christian symbolism. (Grandma's argument that fish is allowed because fish don't make a sound when you kill them has never seemed convincing to me.) So I am sure fish eggs are allowed, but yes, they trigger an allergy for me also. I've never had tempeh, so I will look into it!
Jammies: I love beans and rice but haven't had either in ages. Time to reconnect :-)
The reason why bread is allowed during a fast is because it wasn't considered food. I don't see why fish would be allowed though. Perhaps it's a recruiting trick? The religion with the best fasting rules gets the most followers and therefore the most donations?
If so, I'm starting the church of Me. Fasted meals will consist of massive quantities of grass fed meat, fruit, vegetables and suckling pig topped with bacon. There will also be a second course consisting of fowl, venison and venery.
In all of the universe there is only one person with your exact charateristics. Just like there is only one person with everybody else's characteristics. Effectively, your uniqueness makes you pretty average.

I agree that bread, soy, tempeh and other ick "foods" are a baaaaaaaaaaad idea pre-wedding.
Rice and beans, go for it if you love them!Quinoa is another great idea as it is a complete protein.

In the beans department: Pea soup. Also, hummus. Also, lentil soup -- though I find it's really at its best when it's got sausage in it. :P
My favorite of the vegan cookbook authors is Isa Chandra Moskowitz. Unfortunately, she uses fake meats, and she loves her sugar. So maybe I shouldn't send you that way. :P
Good luck all around!
All religions I know excempt or modify fasting rules for sick people. Considering the only major protein group that's allowed is one your allergic to, there should be some leeway. And if wheat has noticeable direct bad effects on you, that as well. I'd say consult with your religious expert of choice and get sme guidance.
That said, for a short period of time it's probable doable to be vegan and primal, by going for high volume and safe starches, as everyone has said already.
Well... if you were in South America I'd tell you to get some Capybara...
But, since you aren't...
Def some tofu... I like a good tofu and veg stir fry.
Silken tofu will get a dose of protein into a smoothie nicely.
I also think you should be long soaking the beans... black beans and rice, red beans and rice. I like both with lots of added veg. Spice them up and the lack of meat shouldn't be too obvious. One pot (1lb) of beans should get you through a few very hearty meals.
And adding the quinoa too.
Of course lots of veggies, veggies, veggies... but you knew that.
What about cephalopods? Octopus and squid??? Both yummy, and neither are fish (due to allergy) nor shellfish (prohibited).
Calimari, NOM!
Braised octopus.... yummmmmmmmyyyy. (Now I wish I had some... right now!)
Our body is our subconscious mind, and anybody who thinks that their conscious mind is running the show is seriously mistaken. In fact the conscious mind just may be the most narcissistic entity in the universe, it thinks it's running the show. It's not.

And that's why I'm here eating HFLC Primal/Paleo.
SleepyRoots: That's a good point! Maybe I'll sneak in some eggs and dairy....... ;-)
Cori: Unfortunately cephalopods are off the list for me due to my allergy (and TBH, even if I wasn't allergic, I would probably not eat them anyway because I find them creepy and gross. And no, I'm not 5 years old. :-D )
some typical meals I ate when I was a vegan:
lettuce or steamed kale wraps filled with hummus, tomato, avocado, and portobello mushrooms
quinoa-lentil-kale soup
chickpea curry in tomato-coconut milk sauce w/white rice and veggies
chickpea shiro wot
spicy black beans w/rice, salsa, and avocado
butternut squash & chickpea stew
Yeabesha Gomen (collard greens)
Red lentil wot
