Great Stand-Alone Burgers

I was searching for a burger that could stand alone (perhaps alongside salad) a little better than my typical salt-pepper-garlic-onion-paprika blend. This burger is for those of you that like a little "herby" style burger, and the taste of the sage dominates.
Note: I used all dried herbs, but you may use fresh herbs if you wish. It'd probably be even better.
1 lb ground beef or beef-veal mix (about 30% fat... I wouldn't go leaner than that)
1 egg
1/4 cup water (this rehydrates the dried herbs, and makes for a juicy burger!)
1 tsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tsp. Tamari (I use San-J Organic, Gluten Free)
Salt (quantity depends on how salty you usually like your burgers... I sprinkled in about 1/2 tsp, accounting for the salt in the Tamari)
Garlic Powder (generous sprinkling... I'll probably opt for fresh minced garlic next time)
Onion Powder (generous sprinkling... Again, I'll choose chopped onion next time, that I will lightly soften in a pan before mixing into the meat)
1 Tbsp. parsley
1/2 Tbsp. each of Basil, Marjoram, Rosemary, and Sage
This recipe forms 4 patties, and they're fantastic cooked in a pan. Cheese optional.
