Yeah the scrawny waifish look is a thing for hipsters here, dont know if it is a thing everywhere but it is in Montreal. Makes me wanna go all Hulk Smash on them just cause I can.

Just got home from clothes shopping. Pants are 40 x 32 instead of 52x32 and shorts are a loose xl not a 5xl. shirts are large not 3xl. I giggled the whole time, I am sure the sales woman thinks I am mad as a hatter.

with the Humidity it is 108 F out now and getting hotter as the day wears on.... This is crazy for Montreal.

Congrats on the weight loss!! I'm in the same boat, I kinda like clothes shopping now because I can choose things I like, rather than just hoping I can find something that fits that I don't look like a houseboat wearing!

We got the same heat here 5 hours South... Crazy! My son is outside working landscaping (shoveling rocks) he's having trouble keeping hydrated.

    Stay cool!

    Hi Warmbear!

This made me laugh! Thanks! Sometimes I lurk on here - I have roughly been following your story. Congrats on the weight loss!

I made a friend at the last homeschool conference I attended - she is in Montreal. Was cute as hell - her English is super, but her kids had to go out of their comfort zone here in Ohio, especially the teen, but he did great.
I have a mantra that I have spouted for years... "If I eat right, I feel right. If I feel right, I exercise right. If I exercise right, I think right. If I think right, I eat right..." Phil-SC

I seem to have lost enough weight now that I dont actually fit in my skin so well. In some places I feel like I am inside a thick neoprene wet suit that is 2 sizes too big. I have actually rolled over in bed and pinched the skin on my side or hips... weird feeling. I do hope it will shrink in time to fit the new less flubbery me.

I think it would be helpfull to hydrate your skin on a daily basis. Don't know any brand in your country, but you should ask for advice.
Eating good amount of good fat should help your skin as well.

I eat plenty of fat but I dont hydrate. I do have every dry skin so maybe I should? Not a very "manly" thing to do though.
