So, I have (kinda) successfully completed Week 1 of a 30 day challenge. I had some minor slip-ups or "cheats," but overall, I'm proud of myself because I haven't been successful before. I also worked out 5 times the past week, which is a HUGE accomplishment for me. Nothing major, as I'm easing myself back into it; just some walking, body weight strength training and kickboxing. I know I'm not supposed to weight myself until 30 days are up, but I did.
Primal day 1: 160.8
Primal day 8: 156.8
I lost exactly four pounds and I'm thrilled! My goal for this challenge is to lose 10-12 pounds and it looks like I'm well on my way. This week, I plan on focusing more on protein, veggies and fat. I plan to cut down on the beer and wine and NO ICE CREAM! I'm going to cut down on nuts and fruit and I plan to workout a bit more (more walking and sprints).
I know I asked a lot of questions in the forum this week, but I really appreciate everyone's feedback and encouragement! If I can do this, anyone can. I love my sugar and carbs! I love how I'm feeling today even more though.
I am tracking every single day in my journal for accountability:
