Beef Heart Stew
I made the most tasty, yummy stew ever. I purchased a whole beef heart from the local Mexican grocer. I chopped it up, then placed it in a slow-cooker with homemade bone broth, onion, a parsnip, a carrot, salt, and pepper. The heart made a rich, tasty broth. The meat itself was divine - way better than regular stew meat - not tough, but not soft.
I urge you to try this now.
Sounds good. I love beef heart. It is a staple for me. I eat a couple pounds at least pretty much every week. If you trim it well, it is also good just seared like a steak.
