As a second post, if the first one didn't scare you off, I'll give a run-down of my first day of re-primalizing,which started yesterday. My meals were pretty good. Eggs with mushrooms, onion and peppers as breakfast. Lunch was a protein shake made with some whole milk, heavy cream and protein powder. I know that's not great, but sometimes my schedule calls for something very quick. This will definitely be the exception rather than the rule. A snack of an avocado with a little salt on it and dinner of grilled venison steaks, and asparagus. My body responded appropriately after months of bad eating, and, let's just say it did a little self cleaning.
My one weakness for sure is diet soda. I had two yesterday, but I'm trying to make the switch to Crystal Light, since it is essentially water with a flavor. If anyone has any suggestions for other drinks I would appreciate it. I'm not a huge fan of just straight water unless it's after a pretty intense workout.
On a mental note, my signature is one of my favorite poems, and is how I am approaching this. I don't feel sorry for myself for slipping previously, because I know it was my own fault, and only through my own actions will it be fixed. No self-pity here, just moving and looking forward!
