Word up on the venison. I started back deer hunting last fall, just on a whim "Hey, I'm eating a lot of meat, I'll go kill a big fat doe." They did not cooperate. I sold my .308 years ago, so I hastily bought a rifled choke for my 12 gauge, which, with plain ole shotgun sights, made me leery of a shot over say 75 yards. I saw the same 2 deer twice; a probably 2 year old doe (at most 90 lbs) and her yearling fawn (just lost its spots...honestly thought it was a fox when I first caught sight of it). I guess it's the dad in me, I couldn't do it. Killing that little doe would have been killing the fawn as well, it would have never made it on its own. My wife said I was soft, I guess in this case I was. I saw several more deer that were too far off for my shotgun, so this summer I'm saving my money for another rifle.
Anyways, it sucks you can't go outside. At least I can take a walk to the other end of the plant in the sunshine.
If I just said LOL, I lied. Do or do not. There is no try.
