Bravo! Cooked pears are superb, aren't they?

Remind me ... I don't think you are, but are you okay with cheese? Gogonzola or some creamy, veined cheese is absolutely superb with pears. Few walnuts or pecans on top, perhaps a drizzle of honey or agave syrup ... superb!

I have some almond flour and some dessicated coconut which whizzes up easily with my hand blender ... I think I'll do these. Neat idea

Every now and then I have cheese. I prefer mascarpone and heavy cream, though. I had the man pick up some bleu cheese last night for breakfast tomorrow morning.

I'd probably give up military secrets if someone stuck a Red Robin bleu ribbon burger in front of me with extra chipotle mayo and some tiger butter marshmallows for dessert, lol.

How you spend your Friday nights is your business, sista, LOL. I don't judge. We all went to dinner and got the last of our groceries. We are super exciting.

Dr Bork: you should write a cookbook if you can come up with more of these recipes. I made these pear fritters exactly as you directed and it was easy to make and actually good! I've made so many paleo dessert recipes that never seem to come out as the author says it will.

Plus, I didn't feel heavy and gross after. I'm lastose intolerant so I didn't add any cream at the end but I enjoyed it with a tall glass of cold almond milk.

As you can see I get excited about dessert . What I like bout this recipe is the ingredients are basic & I have them all. I'm going to try it with an Asian peat next time or maybe an Apple.
