Barefoot running, and minimalist running shoes in the news

An article in the Canberra Times newspaper today. Interesting how it is getting out more and more into the 'mainstream'. I am gradually getting my ankles - bad since double Achilles tendon surgery some years ago - used to going barefoot after years of shoe inserts. I have some very minimalist cheapie 'croc' knockoffs which I wear for an increasing time each day. I can go all afternoon now! Once I get a job some proper minimalist shoes are on the wishlist.

The Today Show this morning on NBC had a bit on "sneakers" and had a pair of New Balance that were basically bare foot shoes among others.

We've noticed that more and more Invisible Shoes customers are NOT runners, but just like feeling as close to barefoot as they can be while still having some protection... or being able to get into restaurants ;-)
