finally made coconut butter page

Turns out I couldn't wait until the weekend. I made it yesterday. It is sooo good, and easy, too. Thank you all! This is my new favorite treat. My DH and DS loved it, too.

It's really that easy? Do you then refrigerate it? What temp was it in the pics? I am really curious...

It's cheaper to buy when you factor in the wear and tear on your blender. haha!

I tried it using my food processor and I never got a nice creamy consistency... I just got finely chopped coconut. (and some mighty tasty coconut milk!!)

Yeah, I was thinking that too. Also could I handle the noise of that? Not sure!

I figured it's because I just have a cheap 2 cup black & decker processor and my blender is a stick blender. Possibly if I got a real blender, it would turn out differently.
