Why should carbs double if you add just water?
That said, I wonder, what the rest of the pasta is made of: 25g of water and protein???
This might sound a ridiculous question but today I had for lunch organic white rice spaghetti, and on the package it said that 100g of pasta had 75g of CH - so I decided to cook 200g or 150g of carbs - after cooking it the pasta weighed about 450g - are the carbs the same (150g) or have they gone up?

Some starch may have dissolved into the water, in which case the actual glucose content of the pasta will have decreased slightly.
