I occasionally roast my veggies. If I'm throwing something in the oven, I'll fill up the rest of the space with other veggies. I should probably do it more often. With the cold weather here, I probably will. Not going to happen much in the summer, I can promise you that!
Still very draggy today, spent most of the day phoning relatives I hadn't talked to in too long, and have a friend coming for the evening. I didn't want to get down in the dumps. I think for this week I will cut out the magnesium. Too much stuff going on this weekend. And then I will try every other day, and then decide if I want to go full-bore for a while.
On the menu tonight, MDA's slow-cooked coconut ginger pork, nuked beets and a green salad. I had a cottage cheese salad for brunch and have been snitching pork all afternoon... Haven't moved hardly at all. No wonder the scales aren't moving. They aren't going up either, but I'm not in the mood for depriving myself much, so they aren't going down either.
I do appreciate the prayers. It might be a long while before there's news, I'm afraid. At least if it's good news. Bad news could come quickly... I'm at peace with either, really, but I obviously prefer good. The bad could be a door into something good, even better, which is probably why I am at peace with that too.
