    Yup Judg, chocolate.... many of us relate to that issue! I had decided I wasn't going to buy any, guess what? Somehow a bar made its way into the shopping cart yesterday, and then by some 'miracle' made its way into my belly!

    I don't think it's a good thing when chocolate is getting easier to resist because you're sick of it... At least it's the 85% stuff. She said hopefully.

    Bacon and eggs for breakfast, banana and almond butter for an early afternoon snack.

    Honestly, I was also feeling proteined out, and I had this gorgeous bag of fresh mushrooms from the veggie delivery, so I decided to make a small stir-fry for supper, with just a couple of slices of (pre-cooked) bacon crumbled in for the meat. Onion and garlic, the mushrooms, white carrots (yes really) and purple bok choy. It was heavenly.

    Kathi, I braved using a mandoline for the mushrooms. I cut myself. Just a tiny cut fortunately, but still. I am klutzhood personified.

    I would appreciate prayer from all those so inclined for my husband. He is going through a very rough time at work. It is practically at the point where it would be a relief to get fired, if it weren't for the fact that finding a new job in his field is very, very tough. Things seem to be coming to a head, and it is quite possible that the wrong people will be let go for the wrong reasons. I sincerely hope not, but the best-case scenario would take a major miracle. We are definitely open to major miracles but wisdom to handle a difficult situation is the immediate need.

    Definitely will be praying for wisdom and favour too. Work hassles can be so tough as you are there for so much of your time! Trusting that your hubby will be seen for what he is and not what others may present him as. Hugs {{}}

    Thank you everyone. I really don't want to go into any specifics on a public forum, but I'll let you know what I can once there's something to know. He did take action to try to establish a healthier relationship with a higher-up this weekend; we will have to see how that pans out.

    I have been pretty draggy the last few days and I am attributing it to magnesium. As you may recall, I backed off the extra supplements for CFS a while back, because the lengthy detox was really getting to me. I've been re-introducing those supplements gradually, and this week it was the magnesium. The niacinamide, the CoEQ10, the B12, the D3, none of these packed this kind of punch.

    This makes some sense, seeing as magnesium is one of the first things they talk about in relation to restoring mitochondrial function. Now I am debating what I should do about it. Should I soldier on and put up with a more intense, but shorter, detox period, or back off a bit and let it take longer but be (hopefully) somewhat less stressful? I could try taking the magnesium only every other day for the time being, for example, or get lower-dose capsules. Your thoughts?

    Scored a half-dozen fresh organic eggs from Translator Son's chickens. ) Can hardly wait.

    Walked to church today for exercise, and chased grandkids for two or three hours this afternoon. I'm wiped.

    Magnesium. Hmm. Idk, but I think I'd try every other day instead of buying more.

    Nice egg score
