AWESOME pics! You look fantastic!
*blush* Thanks everyone.
Tomi, I wore that dress to death. It was starting to get a bit snagged and I had worn it to so many family functions it was getting ludicrous. So I just let it go. Gave it to the Sally Ann, which is what I usually do with clothing that is still usable. Snags or no, I figured it could still give somebody joy. Hope it did.
Still looking forward to getting rid of the rest of the flab though. But at least stairs are a lot easier to handle now.

Wow, what a change! You DO look younger, and not just slimmer. You're an inspiration, Judg.
Thanks ladies. I have been fortunate in that my face has mostly tightened instead of sagging (except for under the chin *sigh*). That is probably partly due to losing so slowly.
A half of a chocolate cake took up residence in my fridge overnight. DS doubtless brought it home from a going-away party. It looks good. But do I want to risk finding out how much wheat products are going to bother me when I am still recovering from overdoing it, and with two major family bashes this weekend? So far the answer is no.
The meatballs have worn off...I didn't get hungry till well after noon today. So far just a banana with almond butter (that last banana had to get eaten up), a couple of Brazil nuts, and a chunk of pecorino pepato cheese. Love that stuff, although I wish they would indicate whether it's aged or not. Bought an entire small wheel of it, and found it very mild and creamy compared to what I'm used to. Still good though, although I do prefer it with more bite. Once you get past the bread and pasta, there is so much good stuff in an Italian grocery.

My son came home from 2 weeks with his grandparents in Italy (my ex-in-laws) with his luggage packed with salame and parmiggiano.

Goal for 2013: lose 10 kg and keep new weight (+/- 65 kg)
Oh that is one of the things I love about Italians. They always send food! Although I do have a preference for romano over parmiggiano.
So far I haven't touched the cake, LOL! It's an Oreo cheesecake apparently...

LOL! I'm still too afraid it will make me sick, just when I have a big weekend coming up and I'm already feeling a bit shaky. I just don't think about how it would taste, just about how it would make me feel. Although I admit that if I didn't have that weekend coming up, I would be considering whether this is the time for the wheat experiment...

Yes - torment is a good word! Cheesecake is one of my biggest weaknesses! Someone brought one into the office last week and I very stealthfully manuevured around it without as much as a longing stare!a couple sideways glances was all I gave it!
I love those little successes! And my advice is................ NO its not worth the risk! especially with the upcoming events.
When is son making his exit? Mine is still dragging his feet. He's ready to move forward on the pre-qualification stage, since he has the required money for the down payment saved up. Now - he just needs to DO IT! I'm about to tell him he needs to be making progress on the home buying front - or its time to get an apartment! His "fears" are holding him back at the moment.
Too bad on that beautiful dress being worn out........ but just think of the options you have now when going clothes shopping! You'll find another gorgeous dress to fit the new gorgeous you!yeah! My closet if full of cute smaller clothes that I will be enjoying next summer!
Was supposed to be this summer........ but I obviously haven't got this thing figured out yet.
Keep blazing the trail for me!![]()
I'm inching my "weigh" down the scales!

*salutes* Yes, ma'am.
Dresses are very difficult for me. I'm not a standard shape, and it's hard to find one that fits and manages to look good. Right now I have none at all. Not looking too hard at this point either. I did try some on the other day and it was discouraging.
You are so right about the options opening up though. Too right. I was used to grabbing anything that was half-way decent at my price, because it didn't happen that often. I have to get out of that habit. On the downside, clearance racks don't have much in my size anymore. I'm too normal. Still, I keep looking and sometimes I get lucky. Got a linen-cotton blend blazer for $9 the other day. That's my kind of price.
DS is leaving Sunday.
