I have come to the conclusion that eggs exist only as a nutritional glue for cheese and veggies. Only put a bit of cheese in my omelet this morning, the other evening I had scrambled eggs with no cheese or veggies. Blech. Just not an egg person, I guess. If it turns out I need to eliminate dairy I will have a hard time of it.

Yeah, I still did my lesson and Gabi's too. She ended up not getting in the water for long. She was too worried people would laugh at her if she fell and the jelly fish freaked her out. I guess growing up by the water, I took for granted that I didn't care if I got stung. I fell pretty much every time, but it was worth it! There was a lady in my group who was maybe 15 years older than me who mastered it right away. She was my hero for the day. I did, however, improve on my body boarding skills!

I would love to try surfing. And sailing. Kind of too far from the ocean for the first, and not rich enough for the second. There's a lot of windsurfing done on the river here though. There must be some kind of rental possibilities...

Oh, that's hilarious! Thank you for that Hey, body boarding is good for balance. Man, when we were younger, we'd spend hours on end at the beach doing that. I think my Dad loved it because he could just take us to the beach and let us do our thing. Ohhhhhhhhh, I miss that so much!

I have an olive oil/canola blend in the cupboard my son bought by mistake one time. Yerg! I didn't want to use it even before I knew canola was evil. Might have to for a couple of days. I wanted to have that great broccoli salad today, and that requires olive oil. Grrrr.

Judg - what type of writing do you do? books? blogs? shorts?
    Read post #2626
    my motivation

Things I choose to let go:

    All grains - including rice
    Refined sugars
    Legumes - including peanut butter
    Nuts and nut butters
    Alcohol and soda
    Chocolate
Acidic foods, such as pineapple and tomato
    Coffee and tea
    Eggs
    Curry
    White potato
    Dairy - including butter

I'm choosing to do this......... I don't HAVE to.

I'm doing this because I'm worth it - because I'm worthy - because I love myself.

Have done all of those. But it's novel writing I would like to pursue. Takes a heck of a lot of creative energy, and a lot of energy to try to find a publisher. Self-publishing is an absolute last resort, and then I would probably do it electronically, so as to avoid all the scam operations that promise to make you "a published author". But first I will have to pursue my green card.
