Welcome Couchie. I hope you stick with it this time and make a wonderful recovery from your health issues.
Hi All,
Well where do I start, well I am a 47 year old female, well will be in a
couple of months, so close enough.
I have been a member here for probably about a year, which I
have been following primal of and on.
I feel awesome when I eat the primal way and also IFing, so I think it is about time
I get serious, so have decided to journal my journey, to be able to
see where I go wrong and hopefully get some pointers from u long timers.
I suffer from Fibromyalgia and also Chronic Fatigue, and Candida.
So I am hoping being primal on a constant basis will help. I know
staying away from sugar does help, which I normally have no problem staying
of except for the once a week drink. It hasn't helped being away from home
for a couple of day's and eating the wrong foods, especially bread as I am
highly intolerant to Gluten. I am finding it hard to stop, so I really need to do
this, to make myself accountable and get back into the swing of things.
I have just gone though a very traumatic last 2 weeks, as well as a build up to it,
and my Fibro pain has increased dramatically, which I think has really spurred
me on to do something about it. It makes life miserable living like this, I am just so
thankful that I have a very loving and understanding partner that helps me though
it all.
I don't have a decent set of scales, so not exactly sure on my weight, I think around
the 76kg mark, I will post it when I can weigh myself. I really want to get fit and healthy
especially as I am getting closer to 50, I don't want to be racked in pain in my old age.
I want to be able to keep up with and enjoy my grandchildren.
So folks here comes one fit and healthy yummy grandma, lol.
I will start posting my meals and such tomorrow, I look forward to connecting with
you all, if you feel inclined to pop in and say hello.
Bye for now, but not forever.![]()

I got home to late last night to post my day's worth, so I will do it this morning.
Upon arising I have a small glass of warm water with cayenne pepper added.

1 cup of coffee.
Breakfast: scrambled eggs with smoked salmon.
1 green tea
1 green apple
Tea: shin beef casserole with asparagus suited in chilli butter and mashed white sweet potato.
No exercise at the moment, just don't feel up to it yet, but when my body feels ready
I have Craigs, TT bodyweight workouts on dvd.![]()
DAY 2
Feel a little better today but not fantastic, I know it will take a while to get
the crap back out of my system
Started the morning with a small cup of cayenne pepper in warm water.
1 dandelion tea
1 white coffee
About 10.30 I started to get hungry so had a nice big bowl of bone broth
actually it is more like soup as I didn't remove the meat and veg, just the bones,
it was delicious, maybe a bit fatty as I also didn't remove the fat. It filled me up
for hours
About 3.00 started to get a bit peckesh again so had, Greek yogurt with blueberry's
and a square of Green & Black's Organic 85% chocolate grated over it, yum
Tea: fillet steak with asparagus, mashed sweet potato and avocado.
I have run out of coconut oil and miss it terribly, I love it, must order more in.
Ok let's see how I feel tomorrow, hopefully a little bit better![]()
Hi Couchie. I also suffer from chronic fatigue and have just started eating primal in the hopes that it will help. That's the short version; I've already run off at the mouth in the Meet and Greet and in my own journal, so I won't bother everyone with that again.
Sounds like you're off to a great start. I'll be checking in on you so we can encourage each other. It would be so lovely to get our lives back, wouldn't it?
Yes as it is hot, so if you don't like hot stuff, you wont like it.
As for health benefits apparently so, it is supposed to help with the
heart, digestion, energy, arthritis pain and many more, a friend of
mine swears by it to keep colds and bugs away. So i decided
to trail it. I will let u know how I go. I also take superoxy for my pain
as well, so might not know which one is doing the work, hopefully both
Have a awesome day
