Hey Sio, do you plan on reading Bill O'Reilly's Killing Jesus?

I can't imagine even touching anything with Bill O'Reilly's name on it, much less reading it.

Here I am back at work. Slept and slept today, but could hardly get up!

FitBit is dead again and this time it will not reset. I would just as soon get it replaced while it is still new and under warranty. Rather annoyed but hopeful that all will be resolved. I sent FitBit an email. Although I purchased a warranty, I think it is still covered by FitBit. We'll see.

This week grass-fed ground beef is on sale for $4 a pound at my local grocery and let me tell you, it is great. Trouble is, it is from Australia! Nothing wrong with that except that I live in the Land of Grass-Fed Beef and local stuff is $8 a pound. How can beef get here from Australia and be cheaper than local beef? I am truly confused. I know the logistics and practicalities of shipping certain things, but still this strains my understanding.

My foot is so horribly sore! The only thing that is making me keep up with these patches is the knowledge that it hurt anyway. But I am so tired of my foot hurting. I want this wart gone! Maybe wanting can make it so. Am going to visualize my foot with no wart.

Action packed day, and a long one. Got off work, slept two hours and then went back to the hospital for a review board on a case I was involved in. Luckily a co-worker drove me! I'm glad I went even though nothing was resolved.

Today my pull-up bar arrived, and after getting a good workout just putting it together, I am distressed to discover that none of my doorways are suitable. They are too thick. I am going to take it to work and see if it will work there. It is good for doing pushups. Supposedly it can be used for dips - maybe by someone else, but not by me.

Had sardines for lunch, mmm mmm mmm.

The house smells marvelous due to a big pile of pork being turned into carnitas. Haven't made this for awhile, and I am greatly looking forward to tucking in to a big ole crispy plate with all the trimmings.

Have a stressful thing going on that I don't want to talk about here because of privacy concerns (I'm so old school) but it is kind of freaking me out. Must find some balls and resolve it.

Am three hours into the carnitas cooking and the house is enveloped in an aroma that would reduce the staunchest vegan into a gelatinous pool of carnivorous craving. So you can imagine what it is doing to me!

Thank you! I need all I can get! The whole mess is a result of my own procrastination, and my own fault. This doesn't make it easier.

I hate to type 'OMG" but...OMG...the carnitas turned out to be spectacular. The best batch ever. There are a couple of reasons for this. One: the co-op was out of ancho chili powder and I bought a five chili blend. I will be buying it from now on. Two: I turned the pork several times and let it get very crispy at the end. I ate a stupid amount of pork with two small boiled potatoes mashed up with pork juice. Divine.

I think I have successfully transitioned from dairy to coconut milk in my hot beverages. Do you know how I finally did this? I added more coconut milk. I was only putting in a splash, as I do with milk or cream, and that only created a watery unpleasant drink. I added a decent amount and that makes all the difference. I've been dairy free for two days and I must say it agrees with me. I can't put my finger on what the difference is, but there is definitely a difference.

Does anyone have a good name for a toy lion? A plush toy.
