Got home from the film to find the house smelling heavenly - absolutely heavenly. Am finishing the cooking process right now. Mmmmmmmmmmmm

The film was wonderful. Can't wait to see it again.

The carnitas were muy deliciosa! I had some with sour cream, salsa, and avocado. Really, really delicious. I mean seriously, you need to make these. I have a lot left over, but I have a feeling it won't last very long. I also have 10 chicken drumsticks that I baked with Frank's Red Hot Sauce. Think I'm set for protein for couple or three days!

That all sounds really yummy, makes me drool even though I have eaten dinner and am plenty full. Carnivores are always tempted by those smells - or even thinking about memories of smells I am going to have to check the carnita recipe out - never made that kind of stuff ... first time for everything though...
We heard that "Life of Pi" was excellent ... hope to see it soon.

You have to make carnitas, so easy and so rewarding!

Went swimming this morning. The lifeguards were blasting music for some reason, really unpleasant. Oh well, I liked the swimming anyway. Then I went to a new book club that was very enjoyable. I plan to continue. For next month we are reading Swimming to Antarctica by Lynne Cox, so I'm looking forward to that. Luckily there are many copies available from the library.

Had carnitas for brekkie, and am having chicken drumsticks for lunch. Just bare-pawed some leafy greens.

Here I am at work. The ceiling is leaking. Oh well.

I have chix legs for eating as well as some blackberries and kombucha. Nothing really interesting to say otherwise!

Had a chicken leg (actually just the drumstick) with salsa, avocado, and sour cream. Finished it off with blackberries with more sour cream. It's official: Nancy's Cultured Sour Cream is my new crush. That stuff is soooooo good - if you do dairy, check it out. Yes, it is better than regular sour cream.

Time out for a wellness check:

    1. Mood - very good
    2. Weight - good
    3. Energy - great
    4. Skin - good
    5. Digestion - excellent
    6. Hair - very good
    7. Joint pain - non-existent
    8. Heartburn - what's that?

    Overall - I get an A.

Here are a couple of rather bad pics of the print on my world-famous dinosaur pants:

I was motivated to post a pic because I got no less than three comments tonight on how cool they are. Dinosaur pants. Who would have thought?

Mark's book is out! I had pre-ordered and I have claimed my bonus and received it already no less. I wish I could watch it but I have to do some work -
