Are we talking the silky slinky type of scarf ----- or the cotton knitted fluffy - wrap it around your neck on a cold day kind of scarf???

Both kinds, all kinds. I have a stupid number of scarves. That's the great thing about them - they last pretty much forever and you don't need to worry about going up or down a size. I have got loads from the thrift shop, many of them new. Here in chilly Maine, they are extremely useful for much of the year.

Here at work, very busy and it is likely to continue that way. Wheeeeeeeeee!

Do you wear a pedometer? Would be interesting to see how much you log on busy days.

I don't have one, it would be interesting. I need a special one that counts stairs!

Home and rested and hungry. When I got home this morning I had a fried egg and mashed sweet potatoes. That doesn't sound like a good combination, but it is. You know, eggs are good with just about everything.

I don't know what to eat. Ever get that feeling of just wanting to eat something special but not having any idea what that is?

    Yes....

I love sweet potato and I love egg. I have never mixed them together. Is it cool to have a food 'to do' list?

that "what to eat" feeling is common for me. I usually just go for a sweet potato cuz it fills all the normal cravings. So what did you go with?

I had a smoothie made with protein powder, a banana, and an apple. Kinda carb-y, I'm afraid! But it was good and nutrient-dense. I've never made a smoothie with an apple before. I threw it in peel and all, and it made for a nice texture. I don't need to add stevia or any sweetener any more. I stopped doing that months ago without realizing it. Who would think a sweet tooth like mine could be tamed?

I still have half a sweet potato, but that will wait for another day. If I get hungry later on (remember my days are turned around) I will have some sausage and cabbage.

Full disclosure here - sometimes I feel I am too Pollyanna-ish here. And I like to concentrate on the positive in all aspects of my life. However, I'm feeling a little blue, a little overwhelmed, a little lonely. It will pass, one way or another. Life isn't all meat and veg...sometimes it feels more like pasta...just not very satisfying...

I'm sorry you're feeling blue, Siobhan. Let it out if you want to...or not. Or maybe go zipping around in your car.
