Thank you all! I flatter myself that I am actually prettier, but really that is probably just what I look like. My hair was up; it is quite long.

Well. Big News. I bought a new car. I bought an extended warranty. I bought a new car with an extended warranty from a dealer that has been in business for 40 years, offers free loaners and pick up and delivery service, and is located right on my route to work. It's a candy apple red Dodge Dart. Very sporty. Quiet. Drives great. Goes over bumpy roads without even noticing. Whew.

College Son, formerly Car Salesman Son, would approve of your choice. He disliked dealing with idiotic customers, but he really did believe in the cars he sold, and I heard a lot about the Dart. Alfa Romeo platform, if I remember right... Have fun with it. You obviously needed a new car, if only for the peace of mind.

That's right, that's why it is relatively stylish for a basically utilitarian compact car. Italians know a thing or two about making things look nice! I am taking a risk buying the first model year, but what the hey - I like it.

Well, the platform is more the part you don't see. The body is a Chrysler design. But Chrysler's lead designer is a very cool young fellow from Montreal. And the CEO is an Italian Canadian with one foot planted firmly on each continent, so a natural to merge Fiat and Chrysler. You see what good things happen when you put Canadians in charge? LOL!

And yes, I only know these things because DS talked my ear off about them. He loved to talk about his work, well, the car end of it anyway.
