Carb Counts on Cardio Days: On or Off?
So, I want to try a simplified approach to carb cycling I found in the MF Hers book, 1 g per lb of BW on the 'training' days and 0.5 g on the 'off' days (roughly 120 g and 60 g in my case). But they did not specify if the 'on' days are lifting days or cardio days (intervals+support and/or sprint days) count as well??? I could never get that one straight.

"Cardio" as many define it does not hit the glycolytic pathway particularly so I would say off. This is your move slow days.
If you are defining sprints as a cardio day, however then you could call it an on day.

lifting and sprinting days are probably best, from a glycogen replenishing standpoint, but any day you're doing a considerable about of exercise should be fine for the totals you're looking at.

Got it, thank you! Heh, now I know why people do 4 days a week split routines....
