I was wondering what Grok may have used as a toothbrush if he/she really used one and what you guys use.

Also, what's is the best way to prevent tartar and treat it if you already have it.

    Thanks!

I can't personally vouch for his advice, but you may want to look into the work done by Ramiel Nagel. He's written at length about how to reverse dental problems, deriving most of his knowledge from the teachings of Weston Price. He points to the nutrients found in things like bone marrow, organ meats, and blubber as sources of human dental health.

For those still using a toothbrush but want a glycerin and fluoride free alternative, I just got some Uncle Harry's tooth powder and think its great! No it isn't sickly sweet but that's the point. Teeth feel so clean after, no residue. Looks like 8 oz will last a year.

toothpicking and flossing is a nice natural way to get the majority of gunk out of there. I can imagine grok using a twig or bone fragment to pick out pieces of remaining food in his mouth.

I pick and floss more than I brush...and honestly my teeth have gotten stronger and a bit whiter since moving to a primal diet.

You can make a great tooth"paste" very easily at home.

    1 c baking soda

Zest of 1 lime, dried (left out over night)

20 drops of peppermint oil (not extract)

Combine in an airtight container and shake.

I use it with an electric toothbrush.
