I played guitar, bass, and latin percusions on and off for the past 20 years. But because I cook so much, I've cut my fingertips pretty badly, and have had to put things on occasional hiatus's. I look at my guitar every day and can't wait to really get down to it.

As a hobby, I like to mix beats from time to time, it's just tons of fun.

I've been playing bass for 18-19 years and drums for >10 years. I've slacked off since my daughter was born, but I played drums in a Black Metal band for a few years. Excellent fun.
I like to listen to music too; most genres from Doom, Black and Death metal to Prog Rock, blues and jazz. I absolutely HATE this overproduced crap they peddle as pop music nowadays though. I see no value or redeeming featured to it whatsoever.

I am currently into the new Hour of Penance album and am eagerly awaiting my copy of the new Burzum CD.

I am a songwriter, I sing, play guitar, and percussion, and dabble on the keyboards. I've made a couple "beats" but nothing too serious.
Went to school for Music Theory and Composition.

Before I moved a couple weeks ago, I made my living as a musician (cover songs, etc.). Just got my first gig in my new area and hoping to pick up more!

Ahhh the Dead!!! Big fan here too. There aren't people who identify themselves anymore... Don't see a lot of stickers on the cars much. I'm a Phish fan too, I know Heads have their own idea of them. But anyway, it's nice to see another fan out there.

I'm currently getting my Master's degree in music composition. I play flute, piano, and sing. I've noticed that my primal philosophy makes its way into my music. :-)
