I don't mind doing the shopping or cooking, it's just the money. So many bills this time of year, just wish food didnt take such a big chunk of the budget. Hubby isn't keen on a co-op so I'm running round three or four places to get the best quality stuff. Rant complete. Do you go to the farmers markets Lucy? I got there late one Sunday and it looked amazing. I'd love to go again one weekend.

We just bought a half of a grass-fed cow...$900!!!! Holy cow! but I know it's worth it and it will last a really long time. Investing in good quality food is worth every penny. It is extremely hard to find fresh produce here in Montana 10 months out of the year. We have to resort to conventional, and that sucks.

Wow! That sounds like so much but really when you portion it out it'll be like a 100 meals or more. Makes sense then.

Dinner at my Mums last night was really nice, grilled chicken and steamed veges with a banana and thickened cream for dessert.

    Breakdown for Wednesday.
    989 calories
    Carbs: 78g
    Fat: 33g
    Protein: 86g
    Sugars: 38g.

A little low on everything especially fats. I wasn't hungry but definitely could have eaten more. I love food so much. Lol...
