My doctor ordered a "complete metabolic panel" for me a few months ago. Everything came back "normal" - these were things like glucose, creatinine, sodium, potassium, chloride, calcium, protein, etc. My question is are these tests considered "accurate" as far was they are testing for???
Meaning, since my potassium or calcium level is considered normal, does that mean I'm getting enough of each item or can there still be issues with them?
