    Ostrich recipe - Dinner

    Everything looks divine can't wait to try it a bit later

    Ostrich recipe - Dinner

    5 ml olive oil
    onion, sliced
    garlic cloves, crushed
    red or green pepper, cubed
    ostrich steak, cubed
    tomato salsa
    Mushrooms
    Cottage cheese
    black olives, pitted and halved

    1. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan. Sauté the onion, garlic and pepper until soft.
    2. Add the meat and cook for three to five minutes. Add the salsa, mushrooms and olives to the saucepan, and simmer for five minutes. Season to taste. Top with a bit of cottage cheese.

    Serve with mashed brocelli & leeks and sweet potato chips.

    Ostrich is superb, isn't it? What cut did you get? I treat ostrich like lamb - fast cook, literally nothing, or slow cook.

    It curries well ...

    I bought goulash and dinner was lovely last night That's the only red meat that I started eating again after 20 years of eating no red meat & eggs (only chicken and fish) and I'm eating eggs again, really missed them in my life.
