I am beginning to think my 184 was a fluke... was at 186 again this morning with no out of the ordinary foods. Well, maybe the roasted coconut almonds I had last night were a water retention trigger. Who knows... Maybe tomorrow will say 184 again.

That would be Cirque du Soleil... (So hard trying to figure things out in another language, isn't it?) Started in my back yard. I lived in Quebec for more than two decades.

So good to hear of continuing victory!

Jenn, that usually happens to me too. After a good push down, a two-pound rebound. Just keep pushing. That number will eventually crumble under the pressure. I'm at the same stage myself right now.

Good day in my world. Hubby is moving step daughter into new apartment tonight which free's up our weekend to go boating! I'm so excited! Have to plan some yummy meals cuz we love to cook and eat good on the boat! I'm thinking it would be fun to find some some really good filet mignon for Saturday night (most likely our only dinner on the boat). I could bake potatoes ahead of time and rewarm them in the micowave. Breakfast is always eggs and bacon. I'll take almond butter for a little snack. Its hard to travel and stay low carb so I'll have to really plan carefully.

We will be going to Hope Island, about a 1/2 hour boatride from Olympia. Hubby tells me it is laced with wonderful hiking trails. So, I'll be able to get my walking in Friday morning in my neighborhood - then saturday on the island - and maybe I'll skip Sunday. Perhaps kayaking will count for my hour of movement? I would think so - just a different form of movement

I went through my closet today to see what clothes I have lurking in there. I never look at the pants side. I found that I have numerous pairs of capris that will be fitting me perfectly next summer! size 10's! Course, goal weight will put me at about a 6 so I'll have to do some shopping at some point. I also have 2 pairs of nice size 12 jeans that I will transition into when my 14's become to baggy. I'm sure I have a good 20 pounds to go before that transition will happen. My 14's will probably be looking quite baggy in the butt before I will be able to comfortably wear my 12's. Tops are not a problem - I have lots of smaller tops. I also have smaller underware and bra's. So, I'm pretty much good to go! Bring on the fat burning!

I want to step on those darn scales! But - I'm not going to!!!! I want to wait until the 21 day challenge is over and then I'll see what I've accomplished. But I'm feeling very optimistic

Food today:
Bacon
7.5 oz of sweet potato with 1 TB butter

Gosh.......... thats all I've eaten today. And I'm not hungry. Very strange. I'm sure that sweet potato carbiness will trigger some hunger in about an hour. Then I'll have a combination of pork shoulder and left of salmon. time to clean up the fridge. I'm starting to think I should not try to have salads at home. I much prefer steamed or roasted veggies - and salads just make me eat the bad store bought dressings. But I love a salad in the summer heat - maybe I will come across a good homemade honey mustard recipe? One can only hope........

I'm trying to find a sealer for the pergola. I've been told to get Sikken's Log House sealer - its supposed to be the best. But, I'm having trouble finding it. So, time for an internet search...........

I just squeezed into my size 12 Levi 529's. They are too tight to ware...... but hey - I got them zipped without having to lay on the bed! At this rate, I'll be wearing them in about a month. I'm so excited!

Woot! I bet you can wear them by the end of the 21 days!

If you like steamed and roasted veggies, do more of them, especially with cooler weather coming.

And maybe try totally different kinds of salads that don't involve your traditional dressings, so you can develop new tastes. Like Asian salads, or ones that have no greens in them.

What are your favourite veggies? Let's see if we can invent a recipe around them for you.
