I had pain radiating down my bicep. I still recommend an ultrasound, which I was told was less expensive than an MRI. I was also told an MRI would be ordered if nothing showed up on the ultrasound.

No soy for 5 days and my insides are feeling good again. Normal BM today and no pain. I guess I might have found the nasty culprit! I'm going to start easing off the kombucha - I'll drink one every other day. I have enough probiotics to last 2 months so I'll finish those off and then see what happens without them. I read something yesterday that said 6-8 weeks should be long enough to restore the good gut bacteria. I've already done 8 weeks - so I guess another 8 should be plenty!!! And I should know for sure by then if soy has been the problem all along. Almost every condiment I have in the fridge has soybean oil in it!!! I'll have to start looking for good salad dressing recipes that use olive oil for the base.

I have a couple that I'll look for & share...one is for an avocado that sounds really good. I wanted to look for them anyways. I am trying to eliminate all soy as well.

Or you could make your own dressings. My sister makes her own ranch using sour cream, homemade mayo, and spices (that's the dip recipe, but if you add buttermilk, it would be ranch dressing).

I hope exercises you found help.

Hope you are feeling better today tomi. Sometimes there is just no rhyme or reason for our bodies to do what they do. I used to get the dreaded "D" when it was the first few days of "that" time of the month. Hormone related? Who knows. Thankfully that's one issue I don't have to worry about anymore! Yay for many paws!! lol.

Hopefully today will be a better one for you.

Yes - definitely feeling better! I discovered the problem......... READ LABELS TOMI!! The almond butter has SOY in it! The reaction to the soy was undeniable once I realized I had eaten soy. I got up yesterday morning and felt great! I had a very healthy BM and then I ate an apple with about 2 TB of almond butter. Within 30 minutes my stomach started to cramp and my gut completely emptied out! Then I was fine for the rest of the afternoon - but when I got home from work I ate a TB of almond butter and had the exact same reaction! It has to be the soy!

I have GOT to be extremely careful and eliminate all sources of soy.

And with any luck will get to the bottom of this FINALLY!

I hope that's your answer. (Well, in a way, I hope it doesn't, because soy is such a BITCH to avoid. I know you could do it though.) Good luck in your search!
