Hubby took all the banana plants to the yard debris place this morning - I'm waiting for him to let me know the total pounds.

Weight today 181 even. so I'm down just a bit more. I'm starting to have BIG doubts that I will see anything under 180 on Wednesday.......... but still hopeful. Stranger things have happened.

Lush to Nakid! We're guessing 2800 pounds of banana plants - but won't know for sure until morning when hubby takes them to the yard debris compost place.
Those are SO pretty! Do you suppose they'd grow in Iowa?

I watched the game too... well, except the last 1:08 on the clock. I got sleepy and fell asleep on the couch. Glad I missed the end. I hear we lost...

Falcons won -- which I thought was good cuz they are undefeated this season and I didn't want to see them lose that to the Cowboys.

I do think the bananas would grow in Iowa - just make sure they are the kind that can stand the cold. I made the mistake of buying one with the redish leaves - it was beautiful for a single summer - but didn't grow back in the spring. If you buy them from a local nursery make sure to ask how cold tolerant they are. I could send you one if you pay for the shipping

So hubby says the total weight was 1800 pounds. That doesn't sound right at all! So either they weighed the trailer wrong or he read the receipt wrong. Cuz we have lots more bananas than last year - and last year was 2200 pounds. Hubby thinks they made a mistake - we both think it should have been 2800 pounds. Suprisingly I'm not sore today! I figured after "javelin throwing" so many of those trees up into the trailer my right arm would need to be in a sling today!!!! But - no soreness at all!

I did kill an awful lot a spiders while cutting down and packing the bananas into the trailer! UGH! Nasty ugly creepy crawly long legged little buggers!

    Breakfast - BACON

Calories yesterday were 1840 total - not counting the rum. So, thats not too bad considering I ate cheesecake!

We close today on our re-fi -- since our taxes just got posted today we will end up getting money back! PLUS - NO MORTGAGE PAYMENT until January 2013! Thats going to be fun! what shall we do with the extra money? Hubby suggested putting in our IRA's........... I said "what fun is that?" I'm sure I will have hand cramps from signing all the papers. Its rediculous! I think they should just have you sign a page that says - I READ IT ALL!

I bought a new shirt the other day - size L - and its almost too big! I am starting to see a smaller me in the mirror I have noticed my legs are slimming down - and I certainly can feel the tone and muscle! All my walking is paying off. My size 14's are fitting a bit loose as well. Not loose enough to try to wear the 12s but comfortably loose.

Hubby has bible study tonight so I can eat whatever I want. Since I have leftover pork shoulder I should probably finish that up. I'll have some kind of veggie with it.

better think about heading out the door - work is waiting.

Except that is bad for the Falcons. Brad said something along the lines of any time the Cowboys have beaten an undefeated team, the undefeated team has gone on to win the Superbowl.

Congrats on your new low!! Woot! You might want to start buying your new clothes on the small side... LOL! Otherwise they aren't going to last long.

Brad has on interesting theory there............ Or is it based on stats?

I think next time I got shopping I will try the clothes on before I buy. If its a just basic t shirt style I never try it on - cuz it will always shrink the first time its washed.

Good day! I walked when I got home from work, so it was dark 1/2 way through - makes me a little uneasy to walk after dark - but I was okay. I'm eating a big hunk of ground beef fried with 2 slices of bacon and a chopped salad that fills 2/3s of my plate! And I haven't even broke 1000 calories yet --- so I get to have more later! Yeah!

hubby is at bible study - I'm gonna go see whats on the tv. See who's playing tonight

I'm giving it my best shot --- but I don't have total control over what my body does.

Today was busy - a visit from the guy who will be installing our new front door, to measure the thickness of the door jam so I could order the right size. Then to work - and was busy there! I had to leave early, without finishing the deposit (will finish tomorrow) cuz I needed to be at the Escrow company at 4:00 to sign away the next 15 years of our paychecks! But - 2.75% interest and 15 year pay off was just too good to pass by! our payments are going up by $250 a month - but we'll be mortgage free at the age of 67. then I came home and walked 3 miles! (so far no leg pain) Then.......... made dinner BIG burger patty with bacon and a BIG salad! This evening I crashed in front of the TV.
