Can anyone give me some ideas on what to eat for a quick snack? Usually, I grab a few nuts, or a piece of fruit, but I need some other options. Thanks.

Snacks shut down fat burning- eat them at your own risk.

Although it is better to eat a larger meal and not snack(in my opinion, anyway), I seriously doubt it will put you in any peril. If you feel like a snack there are a lot of primal options. hard boiled eggs, jerky(like I said before), canned sardines(or other canned fish), pemmican, or what you are already doing with a handful of nuts and some fruit(i like macadamias, personally). Maybe keep some pre-cooked bacon around.

Weight loss is not an issue. When I went mostly Primal, I lost a few pounds from not eating grains, and have pretty much mainted the same weight since. I have a high metabolism and need to eat three big meals a day plus snacks to avoid losing weight.
I'm 5'11, 153-156 lbs, and workout a lot, so snacking isn't a problem with me. i like to go into the fridge and grab something quick to satisfy my hunger. However, all too often, it's nuts (walnuts, almonds, pistachios, and pecans) or fruit. I know I'm consuming lots of calories from eating too many nuts and would like some other Primal options.

A couple of big olives stuffed with garlic work very well for me.

Xgrains -- i grab a snack similar to yours, or hard boiled eggs, or fish salad (i use tarakihi instead of canned tuna), or simply cut veg of various sorts. THe cabbage these days is mighty tasty, so I've been eating a lot of those leaves with some of the fish salad mixed in (fish salad being fish plus mayo plus celery plus salt, pepper, mustard, and whatever).

    It's a nice snack.

Bake up a dozen chicken drumsticks over the weekend. Will last you all week.

I cured my overeating problems when I stopped snacking though.
