Read about canola oil~ Healthy Oils | Mark's Daily Apple
What's everyone's thoughts on this? The reason I ask is that I was thinking of using some Hellman's Mayonaise in my diet and it the oil in it is rapeseed oil. Oils can be a minefield and I read that rapeseed oil is now being seen as a substitute for olive oil. However, I've also read that it's got half the saturated fat of olive oil which I know is pretty meaningless as there's nothing wrong with naturally occuring saturated fats.
Anyway, thoughts? Is it ok as part of a Primal way of eating?

Use full fat Greek Yogourt or Full fat sour cream instead.
Eating primal is not a diet, it is a way of life.
PS
Don't forget to play!
Just make your own mayo out of eggs yolks and olive oil, avocado oil, macadamia nut oil or ghee (depending on your flavor preference). You may even prefer a blending of oils - say, half ghee and half olive oil - to provide good consistency, dilute some of the sharpness of the olive oil and add the nuttiness of the ghee.

I was never the biggest fan of mayo until I started making it myself. Now I can mess with the ingredients and spices to suit my tastes(i like a little extra cayenne). 1000 times better than store bought stuff.
