    Cold meal recommendations

    Primal Fuel
It's about 99% humidity and hot, and I'm sick of working up a sweat every time I eat (especially dinner).
Does anyone have any recommendations for good cold, primal meals?

a Big Ass Salad is usually my go-to when it's hot and humid out. there's something about fresh veggies, cooled meat and a nice, fresh dressing that keeps me cooled down.

Thanks, can't believe I forgot the Big Arse (that's how we spell it) Salad. When I started primal it was about the only thing I made.

it's funny, but lately i've been obsessed with boiling sweet potatoes, and then letting them cool down and eating them out of the fridge. i'll eat them with cheese, or just about anything. i'm weird though...

It's warming up here too and I had a can of tuna fish over salad for lunch... you could try a can of sardines over salad... cold chicken over salad... I see a pattern here...

cook a few rare steaks, slice them up, store in the fridge and use for BAS's, lettuce-wrap burritos, etc.

Thanks guys. This is a more efficient way to cook too, because I can BBQ a few meals at once, instead of just the one I'm about to eat.

    - Lettuce wraps or nori sheets for sandwich wraps

    - Salads with assorted veggies and fruits. I love adding berries, pears, apples, etc. to a salad

    - Smoothies: Add handfuls of spinach and other leafy greens for added nutrition minus the flavor of the greens. Avocado is also fantastic in smoothies.

    - Yogurt if you eat it with nuts, seeds, fruit, drizzle of honey or maple syrup

    - Grain-free seed + nut crackers with guacamole, salsa, etc.

    - Leftover roasted or grilled veggies with cold salmon, tuna, etc.

    - Chebe (or pure tapioca) bread for a sandwich of your favorite fixings

    - Shrimp, crab meat, tuna, salmon, egg, etc. salad -- so good in lettuce wraps

    - Banana ice cream: Add frozen bananas to food processor and blend until soft serve consistency

    - Hard-boiled eggs: Make a batch to keep in the fridge

    - Deviled eggs
