IMO soy is kind of hard to get around these days unless you eat at home. We do cook most of the time. If I'm going out to eat, I'm more relaxed about it. I don't think any restaurant is perfect. Primal = meat, veggies, avoid grains. Try not to overcomplicate it.
when we go to applebees, I like to get shrimp and sub rice with veggies, or go for a grilled chicken salad or something.
