What About Spelt?
I am new to this, actually just got the book and have started reading. I see in some of the threads that white rice is ok, what about spelt? I have been following the Diet Solution Program off and on for about 2 years, and make my own spelt bread. I have one slice a day for at breakfast. Is this to be avoided?
I think quinoa is about as far into "pseudo-grain" land that most people here find acceptable. Spelt and buckwheat are pretty much grains...you decide if you need it or not. Only you can decide that.
Spelt actually is a grain in the wheat family, and it does contain gluten. Buckwheat isn't a cereal grain at all.
