I've taken to calling her Wiggles McSquirmy cuz she never quits moving. The perinatalogist asked if Grace was as active as this one. When I said no, he said "Ohhh... I'm sorry!" Lol. I don't think hubby fully understood why I get up from 3a-6 or 7a until he put his arm around me one night and Annee was having one of her house parties. Mama just can't get a break.

I just found this thread. Yay!
Blackcatbone, that is beyooootiful! I love pottery, even though the only creative thing I do is photography, and I'm still one of those dolts crying, "I miss film."
Yay of the day: I got through all of the magazines laying around the house and pulled out all the recipes (many or most of which have to be primal-ized), exercise articles, and product reviews. They had taken over my kitchen table, and I was so sick of seeing them. Now I have to file them (yeah yeah ocd), but that's the easy part.![]()
Thanks Joanie! It's actually concrete, sealed and waxed. It's a gift for a friend who sends me plants all the time. I've been working on the recipe and technique and finally got that smooth marble-like finish. I have a bunch more lined up now. My brother wants one and I think I'll make one for my sister and mother too. Plus a planter for a fern I just bought.
YOTD: I stupidly regressed into the SAD during the month of November while staying with my sister, who has a kitchen full of everything that I should not eat (my husband was away for Army training so I stayed with her for a 3-week mega slumber party). Not only did I fall off the wagon, but got run over too. It's kind of hard to get back into Primal eating now that I'm back home but my Yay is that today I am totally determined to eat a Primal lunch and dinner, and go for a nice long walk. Ready to get back into it!!
YOTD: Fell off the wagon for about 2 weeks around thanksgiving. I'm getting back on the primal train and it feels GREAT! I forget, sometimes, how eating this way makes me WANT to be in the kitchen. I don't want to spend so much time cooking, but I really do enjoy having healthy and tasty meal choices. I went to the physical therapist yesterday and I helped me out with my posture and my ankle injury from so long ago. My body already feels better.![]()
Also, I was watching Restaurant Impossible the other night and I saw a giant pan of bacon soaking in its own fat on the stove. Robert ladled out some fat to cook something with and a little light bulb went off in my head: I will do this. Because sausage and mushrooms cooked in bacon fat sounds WONDERFUL!
YOTD: Nurse said she saw hair on Annee during my NST scan today. Yay! I was hoping for another furry little hobbit baby <3
I remember how sweet Grace was with her fuzzy little bottom and feet, and the fine line of hair on the edge of her ears. SO CUDDLY!
