And interested men I suppose
Amazon.com: Ancient Bodies, Modern Lives: How Evolution Has Shaped Women's Health (9780195388886): Wenda Trevathan Ph.D.: Books
It talks about hormone levels and fluctuations, and helps explain why many of us might struggle, e.g. amenorrhea after losing a bit of weight compared to other women who are adjusted to eating much less.
The one gripe I have - and it really jars - is that when the author refers to "an ancestral diet" (as in, going back to one, so that we can avoid modern problems - very PB, no?) it is of course full-on CW - wholegrains etc etc.
Certainly full of useful and interesting ideas though![]()
