Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum but have been following the lifestyle for over a year now and I wanted to ask something. I've recently came upon a coconut milk brand called Heera, its ingredients are only coconut extract and water, it's got no preservatives nor any other substance but the label says it has no saturated fat, yet it's not a light version. What can one make of such thing. Thanks in advance.
Coconut extract is a flavoring, not the actual milk or meat of the coconut. That's likely why there's no saturated fat in it. It's just added to water to make it taste coconutty (that's my guess, anyway).
Hmm well it's white and creamy so I should expect that to be from the meat of the coconut and not just a flavouring.
