    Miracle Noodles

    Primal Fuel
Does anyone know anything about the 'miracle noodles'?
They have no fat, no carbs, no calories, but are soluable fibre from the Konjac plant.
Are these things that anyone here eats or are they not recommended?
I'm not a complete idiot! There's parts missing!!

...aka shirataki noodles (the non-tofu kind). I use 'em every now and again with beef & cream sauce. I rinse them thoroughly, then cook away the water they retain. Nutritionally they're a big zero, but being 100% fiber they do tend to go right through you.

They have an interesting chewy texture-people tend to either love or hate them. I find they work very well in Asian stir-fry dishes.

Hmmm, think I might order some. They are quite pricey though, but would fill a gap when I get the munchies!
Does a little go a long way?

A 7 oz bag has enough for 2 servings once the liquid is drained. Need to rinse them very thoroughly to get rid of any smell and then they soak up whatever sauce you use with them.

Hey Rattybag! I am in the Netherlands and I cannot find the non-tofu kind here. It's easy for me to order them from the UK... Do you mind forwarding the site?

No problem! go to: Shirataki MiracleNoodle Shop! and choose 'United Kingdom' form the list on the right before you order.
Actually, just noticed The Netherlands on that list too!
