    To be honest, I think years of CW wisdom diet plus hypothyroidism means that my metabolism already IS slower than it should be. Officially, I calculate my daily needs at ...I think it was like, 2030 last time I checked, around that. But I know if I eat 2000 calories a day I gain weight. I tried 1800, then 1500, and still didn't lose. Hence, now I'm down around 1200. I wish it were more so I could enjoy things like coconut milk more often, but I just don't think I can get away with it.
